B.Sc. CSIT Admission and Eligibility
Applicants must meet the admission requirements prescribed by Bagmati University:
- Completed twelve years of schooling or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Nepal.
- Completed the required academic background and relevant subjects prescribed for the program.
- Fulfilled the minimum grade, division, or academic qualification requirements prescribed by Bagmati University.
- Completed the online application process within the specified deadline.
- Passed the entrance examination conducted by Bagmati University.
Entrance Examination
Eligible candidates must submit the online entrance application, attend the Bagmati University entrance examination, and complete the admission process within the announced schedule.
Teaching and Learning Methods
The program combines lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, programming exercises, workshops, seminars, assignments, presentations, projects, research activities, and digital learning resources. These methods develop conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, technical confidence, and practical problem-solving ability.
Projects, Research and Internship
Students complete a three-credit Apprentice Project in Semester IV, Literature Review, Research and Seminar in Semester VI, and a three-credit Major Project in Semester VII. These activities develop software development, research, technical writing, teamwork, and presentation skills.
A six-credit Industry Internship in Semester VIII provides supervised professional experience in a technology company, research institution, government agency, or relevant organization. Students must prepare and present an individual internship report for evaluation.
